Expectation

Expectation is a desired and strongly believed of a person that something will happen in a desired day or in the near future.
Expectation  may or may not realistic.

Everyone and anyone expect to a person whom they trust, believed and love.
It’s a normal that any person expect even he/she doesn’t know if it is gonna be factual.

Expectation is inevitable, you expect because you love his/her or you believed on him. As nowadays many people expect and hurt in return. Why? Because they expect and nothing happen in return.  Expectation sometimes leads frustration, to disappointment, to stress, to fuming and most of all to revenge and not to trust anymore to anyone.
We think and find out that the word “expectation” is a diminutive meaning or doesn’t any sense at all, but were wrong, that word means a lot to anyone because we can’t avoid our self to expect to anyone else specially if that certain person mean a lot to us.

How can we avoid it?

Anyway we can't really avoid ourself to expect, especially if that certain person mean so much to us, but refrain yourself to expect or don’t expect to anyone or to any person, live fully and freely. Enjoy the things what you have and what you've got. Expectations always hurt. Life is too short to disappoint, to be unhappy, to frustrated and etc.
Do the things that motivate you and laugh until you cry, be with those people who make you happy and accept the real and true you.

Just be yourself, that’s all.

Listen To Understand, Not To Respond.

If there is one communication skill you want to aim and master, then listening it is.
According to Rachel Naomi Remen "the most basic and powerful way to connect to another person is to listen".  Just listen.  Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our attention.

Listening is the capability to precisely receive and understand/interpret messages in the communication process.

Listening is key to all effective communication, without the ability to listen effectively messages are easily misunderstood  and communication breaks down and the sender of the message can easily become frustrated or irritated.

Listening is very important that many individual such as; students, employees, employer, manager etc have desired to it. We spend a lot of time to listen, but the thing is “Did we are really listening”? the are some instance that it looks like we are listening to the person who is talking or so called pretend listening, but its totally not, we just nod* down our head if the speaker going to ask if he/she understand of what he/she talking about.

Listening requires not just your hearing but your concentration, presence of mind and attention, which in return you could understand and respond accurately and give a feedback of what he/she talking about.

According to Mark Twain “If we were supposed to talk more than we listen, we would have two tongues and one ear.”
Don't talk, but  listen.  When somebody else is talking listen to what they are saying, do not interrupt, talk over them or finish their sentences for them.  Stop, just listen.  When the other person has finished talking you may need to clarify to ensure you have received their message accurately.

And one more thing use Nod* and other gestures or words to encourage them to continue.
Maintain eye contact but don’t stare, show to his/her that you are listening and understand what is being said. Don't become irritated and don't let other person’s habits or mannerisms distract you from what the speaker is really saying. Everybody has a different way of speaking. Just focus on what is being said and try to ignore styles of delivery.

Its not easy to talk, specially when you are talking to, is not listening. It is a mean of disrespect and being so rude to the speaker.

Start Up Your Goals and Objectives

When you have a business it is a must that you have a goals and objectives that bear in your mind before you start up your business. When you have something you want to accomplish intended for your business, it is important to set both goals and objectives.

Anyway goals and objectives are not only intended for the business plan and etc. but in some point that we do in our daily routine we have some objectives and goals that we have on it, just sometimes we don’t notice it.

Like for example; you are a student and your goals is to become a dean’s Lister, then your objectives could be to study every subject that you have and capable to pass and submit the project at the right time.  Another example is that your goal is to buy a house and lot after five years, then in that point you’re probably objectives is to save money every time you got your salary and save money in the bank.

Takenote: goals without objective can never be accomplished while objectives without goals will never bring you to where you want to be.

Goals are long-term aims or desire that you want to accomplish as soon as possible. And objectives are concrete or actual attainments that can be achieved by preceding a certain number of steps and process.
Goals are less structures whereas the objectives are very concrete and actual. Goals and objectives are often used interchangeably, but the difference between this two is comes from their level of concreteness.

Goals has the word “go” on it, and objectives has its word “object” means your goals and objective should go ahead on your specific direction. Nonetheless goals will often depart into undiscovered terrain and therefore you can’t even know where you will end or what your endpoint is.  However goals are more about everything you carry out in your journey, somewhat getting to that distant point. And therefore every area of each goals and objective should be firm.
Here are the basic difference between goals and objective:

1.   Goals are general intensions; Objectives are precise, specific and accurate.
2.   Goals are intangible; Objectives are tangible.
3.   Goals are conceptual/theoretical; Objectives are concrete/actual

How about you? Did you start up already your goals and objectives?
If Yes, that’s could be great! , If no then you have already a clue on how you going to construct and mold your goals and your objective.

Have a great day!

It's Decision !

Are you familiar with the famous quotation of Lao Tzu which is  " A journey of a million miles begin with a single step".
Everything we do and did in our everyday life  is begin and powered by a single step or the so called our "Decision".

Nowadays people often defined as decision making is the hardest thing that they've made in their entire life. A small move of decision will lead you either to success or to failure. Every decision that we've made has its own consequences  a bind of it.

And unfortunately we made decision every single day and in every simplest thing in our life, like what we wear, what we eat, where we go and so on ..

Decision - making

Decision making is the action of choosing between two or more action that is relevant to your problem, situation or the circumstances that you've facing of.

Decision making are very hard, and any decisions are involves some conflicts, dissatisfaction and difficulties in family, friends, work place, peers and so on..
The difficult part is to choose and select one possible solution where positive outcomes can over weigh possible losses or the failure.

A good thing about decision making is knowing and involving good decision techniques, and here some relevant practical decision making;

The Decision - making Process

Step 1 - Identify and Define the problem

Information gathering are important in this stage. You've find out what is really the problem is, and it should be clarify the what exactly the root cause of this problem.

Take note: the more it could be specific the easier to evaluate the best result of the root cause of the problem.

Step 2 -  Generate and Evaluate Alternative Action

Once the problem is defined, its time to gather the facts or the relevant information about the problem to solve it. This is where we clarify exactly what needs to be known and find out.

Step 3 - Choose Preferred Action

In this point you have to select the preferred action that is significant and relevant to your problem.

Step 4 - Implement the Decision

Once you've find out the preferred action to your problem then you will fully implement it.

Step 5 - Evaluate Results

The decision-making process is not complete until the results are evaluated. If the desired outcomes are not achieved or accomplish then corrective action must be done and should be taken.

The Smarter Decisions, The better Results !

The more we accept the fact that we are likely to make an imperfect decision at least some of the time, it makes sense to try and to understand why.
